EXPOPARK HIRES NEW OPERATIONS MANAGER

Great Falls—John Scott has been hired by Montana ExpoPark to serve as their operations manager, supervising the maintenance and facility operations at ExpoPark. His position requires a high level of interaction with a variety of publics who use ExpoPark for concerts, trade shows, automobile and horse racing, weddings, livestock events and much more.
“It was essential that we find an individual who could relate well with the public,” said Bill Ogg, general manager for Montana ExpoPark. “Our maintenance crew are the gatekeepers of our facility and are the first to respond to customer needs. John is a good problem solver and team leader.”
With past experience at the facility, Scott is familiar with the managerial duties of his position. He has been credited in the past for significant change in the condition of the grounds and buildings, and will apply those same principles to future programming at ExpoPark. He is responsible for supervising operational functions of the 130-acre complex, including the Montana State Fair, maintenance staff hires, construction budgeting, safety controls and work scheduling.
